Legal Notices & Complaints

Last updated: September 2026

This page explains how to contact AvenueSnipe with an intellectual-property complaint, another legal notice, or an abuse report, and how we handle it. This is not legal advice, and nothing here is intended to limit rights you have under applicable law.

1. What this process is for

AvenueSnipe is a software and automation platform. Users import content, create listings, and publish to marketplaces through it, and content that originates from third parties (suppliers, marketplaces, and other users) may appear in or flow through the Service. We take intellectual-property rights seriously and operate a simple process for receiving and acting on reports.

You can use this process for:

  • copyright complaints
  • trademark complaints
  • other intellectual-property complaints
  • legal notices
  • abuse reports
  • requests concerning content you believe is infringing or unlawful
  • other formal complaints about the Service

2. How to send us a complaint

Please email us at [email protected] with the subject line “Legal Notice”, and include as much of the following as you can:

  • your name, organisation (if any), and a way to contact you (email is fine)
  • enough information for us to identify the content — for example the exact URL(s), listing or item identifiers, product identifiers, and, if relevant, the AvenueSnipe account name you believe is involved
  • the right or rights you believe are affected (for example, copyright, trademark, privacy, or another law), and the basis for your belief
  • a description of what you would like us to do (for example, remove content, restrict a feature, or investigate an account)
  • a statement made in good faith that the information in your notice is accurate, and, where you are not the rights holder, an explanation of your authority to act

3. What we do with a complaint

When we receive a complaint we aim to handle it promptly and fairly. Our process is:

  • Receive and acknowledge — we confirm receipt and, where appropriate, ask for any missing detail.
  • Identify — we use the information you provide to locate the affected account and content where possible.
  • Review — we assess the complaint against the law and against our Terms of Service. We do not take down content simply because a complaint has been made, but we investigate legitimate complaints in good faith.
  • Contact — where appropriate, we contact the relevant user so they have an opportunity to respond.
  • Act — where a complaint is well-founded, we take reasonable action. This may include restricting or removing content or functionality, and, for serious or repeated wrongdoing (such as repeated infringement or abuse), suspending or terminating an account.
  • Record — we keep an internal record of the complaint and the action we took, so we can respond to repeat issues and meet our legal obligations.

4. If content affecting you is reported

If we receive a complaint about content associated with your account, we will contact you where we can and where it is appropriate to do so. If you believe the complaint is mistaken — for example, because you own the rights or have permission — respond to us and explain why. We will consider your response before deciding what action, if any, to take.

5. Content on marketplaces

AvenueSnipe does not host eBay listings. Listings you publish are hosted by eBay and subject to eBay’s rules and its own reporting processes (including its Verified Rights Owner programme and report-item tools). If your complaint concerns a live eBay listing, please report it directly to eBay, and we will of course still consider any complaint that relates to how content flows through AvenueSnipe.
